Our junior room took an exciting trip to the local library in Mountrath! We were all filled with excitement as we entered our beautiful library.
When we arrived at the library, we were greeted by the friendly librarians who shared some fascinating stories with us during story time. We sat, captivated, and listened to all the stories. The stories fired our imaginations and inspired us to do some more reading at home.
After story time, we had some well-deserved playtime in the library's dedicated children's area. We discovered a treasure trove of books, toys, and games. It was a hive of excitement as we explored and interacted with the different activities. We played together and shared our favorite books and games.
Our trip to the library wasn't just about stories and playtime. We also had the opportunity to get creative with crafts. The librarian showed us how to use colorful paper, glitter, and stickers. We carefully designed and decorated our own bookmarkers, adding our personal touch to each one. These handmade creations would remind us of our special day at the library every time we opened a book. We also got to play and spend time building with the Magnetic tiles.
We returned to our school with smiling faces. Our trip to the local library was a memorable and enriching experience that deepened our love for reading and storytelling.
