The 'Rest of the World Rocks' Maths competition came to an end last week. Our school has achieved tremendous success and we are delighted to share this news with you.
2nd Place School Finish
Out of the 338 schools that participated in the competition, we proudly secured a phenomenal 2nd place. This is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students.
8th Best Class in the World
Our class also deserves a round of applause! Among the 3788 classes that participated, we finished as the 8th best in the world. What an outstanding accomplishment for our class!
The Best in Ireland
We are extremely proud to announce that we were the best class and school in Ireland in this competition. Our students' dedication and determination have truly paid off.
Top Performers
Not only did we excel as a class and school, but we also had three students who were the very best in Ireland. Let's give a special shoutout to these outstanding individuals for their exceptional performance. What's more, these same three students ranked among the top 50 primary students worldwide. Such an impressive feat!
Teamwork and Effort
We want to extend a huge congratulations to all the children who participated. Watching them play as a team and witnessing their individual achievements was a joy. Every score they earned contributed to the success of the entire class. This accomplishment is even more remarkable considering we competed against mostly 6th classes from Ireland and around the world, while representing our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th classes. Well done to the Senior Room!
