The students and staff at Rushall NS are incredibly excited to announce that our school achieved 1st place in Ireland Rocks - a times tables competition run by Times Tables Rock Stars.
Ireland Rocks required children to correctly answer as many multiplication and division questions as possible, to give their class and school the best chance of winning. The competition was fierce with 12,157,817 questions answered collectively by 15,635 pupils from more than 281 schools and 1,072 classes around the country!
Our school stats were amazing. On average our top class answered 6,460 questions correctly per pupil, with the best-performing pupil answering an amazing 13,885 questions correctly in total. We had THREE of our own in the TOP 20 students across the whole of Ireland.
What an effort the Senior Class made over the last 3 days to achieve this award! Mr. Monaghan and all the staff at Rushall NS are so proud of them all! On top of that, we helped County LAOIS win the best county award!!
